The search for goodness never stops at The Chow Report, and in the past week, Chow seekers Pervaiz Shallwani and Liza de Guia both filed reports from Williamsburg.

Pervaiz Shallwani stops by Whirlybird to taste Texas-style breakfast tacos (made with all organic ingredients, btw).

What is a breakfast taco, you ask? At Whirlybird, it’s a lightly crisped tortilla, topped with scrambled eggs mixed with Oaxaca cheese, topped with a spicy homemade salsa of peppers, tomatoes and chorizo, and finished with crushed jalapeno potato chips and freshly chopped cilantro.

Liza de Guia stops by Maison Premiere, a New Orleans-style oyster house famed for their weeknight happy hour which features a menagerie of meticulously sourced oysters for a buck a piece.
