The Event: Stinkfest 2011 – Stinky Bklyn’s annual cheese eating contest – the main attraction at Smith Street Fun Day
The Mission: Eat as much cheese as possible in two minutes. Unseat cheese destroyer/three-time champion Will Millender.
The Cheese: Cantalet.
The Crowd: Huge. Rowdy. Screaming.

Stinkfest 2011 - competitive cheese eating returns to Smith Street. In red, three-time champ Will Millender defends his title while Patrick Watson, owner of Stinky Bklyn, Smith & Vine, JakeWalk and Brooklyn Wine Exchange, referees.

Mission accomplished. Borough president Marty Markowitz prepares to present 'The Champ' with belt #4.

Will anyone ever take down Millender? Hundreds of contenders are doubtlessly in intensive training right this minute.

'The Champ' basks in the glory as the adoring crowd goes wild.

Evan [...]

But his other work may be even [...]

The bar staff is friendly and know their old time cocktails. And someone in the kitchen, Executive Chef Craig Rivard to be exact, knows his bar snacks. We melted into one [...]
