Prospect Heights’ reputation as an emerging hub for good food may have been  temporarily deflated when Spotted Pig alum Chef Nate Smith left the newly-opened Dean Street after just one month (due to a dispute over TVs in the dining room).

But the buzz is definitely back now that word is out about a new ramen spot set to open in the ‘hood. Why the buzz? At the helm will be Jamison Blankenship, the chef de cuisine at Chelsea restaurant (and giant glam-fest) Morimoto, and his executive sous chef David Koon. No scandal here: Morimoto-san has blessed the venture.  Eater has the scoop.
