We are a mom and pop cupcake baking operation based in Brooklyn, NY. Matt and I (Allison) have been married for five years, have two little kids, and were born and raised in Bay Ridge (where we still reside). We started making cupcakes the way had always wished everyone else would: we used French buttercream. We did interesting flavors with various components. We treated them like CAKES instead of a novelty item. We relied on flavor instead of food coloring and sprinkles. And before we knew it, we went from baking a couple dozen cupcakes to a few hundred a day. Currently, we offer over 130 flavors on our rotating menu, four of which make an appearence every week at select shops and cafes.
