We make our award-winning ice cream with local dairy from the happy, healthy cows of New York State farmers. Other ingredients are selected very carefully to create the best tasting, highest quality scoop possible. Convinced that nature doesn't need much help to be delicious, we keep our flavors simple and elemental instead of clouding them with sugary and preservative-packed mix-ins. We avoid altogether the use of any artificial coloring or flavoring and use absolutely no corn syrup at any time, in any flavor. While we always try to keep the perennial favorites in stock, others come and go with the seasons, from wintry peppermint stick to sunny summer peach. We serve Fair Trade coffee from Hudson Valley-based Irving Farm Coffee Company; tea from In Pursuit of Tea, a company committed to supporting small tea plantations in rural Asia; baked goods from Red Hook's Baked and Park Slope's Blue Sky Bakery; morning bagels from Bergen Bagels; and organic chocolate from Boerum Hill's Nunu Chocolate. We have shops at 196 Court Street in Cobble Hill and 186 Underhill Avenue in Prospect Heights. From May to October, you can also find us at Brooklyn Flea on Saturdays, at Picnic Point on Governor's Island, and at Brooklyn Bridge Park on weekends.
