  Today is an historic day for Barrier. We just brewed our final 1bbl batch at Lawson Blvd. The burners have been extinguished and the mash paddle hung to rest.

  But today is a day to celebrate. Next week our new brewhouse arrives and we’ll be welcoming all of you into our new brewery in the very near future.

  The growler debut of Craven will be available tomorrow at the brewery from 12-3pm!

  Craven – 5.3% Belgian Red Ale: Loosely inspired by the Belgian-style Singles, this is our interpretation of a Belgian ”session ale”. The beer pours a deep ruby red with nice khaki-colored head. Belgian yeast aromas are very gentle with notes of pepper, citrus peel, and soft banana esters underneath a sweet, bready, biscuit maltiness. The beer has a silky body with flavors of dried cranberries, pomegranate, toasted malt, and a subtle herbal hop character followed by a dry, peppery finish.
