applewood is housed on the ground floor of a turn-of-the-century Brooklyn storefront. Our daily-changing menu and seasonal cocktails showcase our devotion to sustainably grown, local products. David and Laura Shea have made applewood a departure from almost all other restaurants with their complete devotion to supporting local farmers, their exclusive use of hormone- and antibiotic-free meats and poultry, as well as wild fish, and their on-site butchering of whole animals including lamb, goat, deer, and pigs (to name a few).
