Coturri 2009 Rose
This is the rose that changes people’s minds about drinking the pink stuff. It’s a wild ride of raspberry, cherry, honeysuckle and earth and is a perfect match for Christmas ham. $25

Lini Lambrusco Rosso
Lush black cherry fruit jumps up and gives you a high-five when drinking this red sparkling wine from Italy. It’s a great bottle to take to a party or to drink after getting all of your holiday shopping done. $15

Domaine de la Cadette 2008 La Chatelaine Vezelay
The commune of Vezelay is located just outside Chablis in France where the vines date back to the 9th Century. This wine is a classic white Burgundy with notes of lemon, lime, green apple and seashells. It drinks well on its own or with seafood and salad – makes a great gift, too! $24

Fontezoppa 2007 Vardo
A classic marriage of old world Sangiovese and new world Cabernet Sauvignon from the Marche region of Italy. It’s rich and velvety with notes of tart cherry and cassis with a kiss of tannins. Goes great with everything or on its own. $22

Perucchi Gran Reserva Blanc Vermouth
This Spanish fortified wine made with 40 different herbs and botanicals is perfectly suited for bracing weather. With each sip, layers of flavor open – ginger, pumpkin, clove and dried citrus peel. Serve it chilled with a bowl of nuts, fruit or just on its own. $18

For a holiday cocktail, hot drinks are a great way to heat things up. Try some hot fresh cider with some lemon slices spiked with cloves. Pour the spiced cider into a mug and add some Laird’s Applejack for an extra kick.
