We here at Nona Brooklyn think there’s nothing wrong with a little food porn. When the only thing being objectified is a hibiscus doughnut, or a burger cooked in duck fat, or a pan of sizzling bacon…sorry, we got distracted. The point is, there’s no shame in drooling while watching food television, and Brooklynite Liza de Guia is about to give us a whole lot more to drool over: the second season of Food. Curated is here!
This Thursday, August 11th at 9pm on NYC life (channel 25), the television version of de Guia’s fun, informative, and totally mouthwatering web videos returns to the airwaves for its second season. de Guia’s obsession with food and storytelling makes her subjects leap off the screen, and we’re always left entertained…and hungry! Luckily, she has often covered Brooklyn food makers (past subjects include SCRATCHbread, The Meat Hook and many, many more) so if Season 2 of Food. Curated leaves you with an uncontrollable craving, you might just be able to walk out your door and find a fix in your neighborhood. Just…try not to drool on the street.
Catch a sneak peek in the promo below, and catch episode one Food. Curated season two tomorrow at 9pm.
