If you’re looking for a good read that will fire up your appetite AND deliver the intel on exactly where to go for some of Brooklyn’s best food, you should check out Sherri Eisenberg’s ‘Food Lover’s Guide to Brooklyn.’
This is no quick guide cobbled together by a team of bloggers in a few months. Sherri actually personally visited and ate at 700 restaurants, shops and markets over the course of a year. She selected about half of them for inclusion in the book. (Shouldn’t there be some sort of statue awarded for that kind of feat? Come on Marty Markowitz! This deserves some official respect!)
The Greenlight Bookstore in Fort Greene is hosting a reception and tasting in honor of the book tomorrow from 7:30-8:30pm. Good food will be on hand with Sherri – No. 7, Café Habana, James, and Cake Man Raven will be representing some of Fort Greene’s finest with free tastings.
Looking for something to do tomorrow evening? Why not stop by, meet Sherri, pick up your own copy of the book and have some great food?
Greenlight Bookstore is at 686 Fulton St. between South Eliot and South Portland in Fort Greene.
