Farm-to-table eating is clearly here to stay. It’s practically a requirement nowadays that any ambitious chef procure produce and protein from local, sustainably-minded farmers. One resourceful Brooklynite is pushing the trend a bit further: designer Kate Huling is making leather handbags from the hides of the very same locally-sourced, pasture-raised beef and pigs that are so artfully served up at Williamsburg’s Marlow & Daughters and Diner. Would we call this farm-to-shoulder…? The bags run between $300-400 and are available only at Marlow & Daughters. The Post has the details.
