Summer may be winding down, but there are still plenty of reasons to get out this week. Here are our top picks!

Pacific Standard’s 4th Birthday
Tonight Pacific Standard celebrates another year of slinging craft brews, with a special selection of rarities from Sixpoint on tap and in cask, including a top-secret “mystery beer.” With each Sixpoint beer you buy, you’ll get an entry ticket into a 10pm raffle to win surprise goodies. See the full list of brews here.

Snacks and Sips
Brooklyn Cured brings its meats to Brooklyn Oenology‘s tasting room for the day, in the form of two signature sandwiches: a BLT with hickory smoked bacon and a banh mi with smoked pork rilletes and country pate. Pair the bites with BOE wines, ready with discounts by the glass or bottle.

Saturday, September 10 from 3-7pm at 209 Wythe Ave between N 3rd and N 4th Sts (Williamsburg)

Pig Island II
Pork paradise returns to Governors Island this weekend, with a lineup that features 25 local chefs working their magic on hogs from New York state farms. A few of the offerings: pig’s head tacos from Palo Santo and escarole and pulled pork salad from iCi, along with refreshments from Sixpoint and Brooklyn Oenology. Harvest Preview Party
Brooklyn Winery
gets ready for its fall harvest by toasting the past year with 2010′s best vino and food pairings. The event is free, but if you RSVP, you’ll be entered to win a quarter barrel (that’s 72 bottles) of wine. Claim your spot in the raffle here.

Beer-Pairing Gala
Local literary mag Slice hosts its second annual fete at 61 Local with a four-course seasonal dinner, paired with homebrew-style suds from Sixpoint. Snag a copy of the current issue, and stick around for drink specials after dinner. Head to Slice for tickets.

Brooklyn Rooted Dinner Party

Sit down to a three-course meal with Elise Kornack, an alum of The Spotted Pig and Aquavit. The dinner features Salvatore Bklyn smoked ricotta, plus wine pairings and recipes to take home.
