Summer Fooding Conference and House Party
MOPAC–short for Meet Other People And Cook–hosts a soiree for swapping recipes, stories, and ideas. Expect a little of everything: burgers and hot dogs, a discussion about urban food trends, a food-as-art video projection, and a chance to share your favorite food memories. Get your bib ready for a shellfish feast, courtesy of Ted and Amy Supper Club. The menu features clams, lobster and mussels, plus grilled beets, chilled tomato soup with melon, a rosemary salty dog and marshmallow hot fudge sundaes. RSVP to claim a spot.

Steve’s Ice Cream Mashup
While they gear up for their Altantic Avenue store opening, Steve’s Ice Cream sets up shop at 61 Local for all-day bash introducing three new beer-spiked flavors: beer pretzel caramel, Bklyn blackout, and maple porter pecan. Swing by for a scoop, an ice cream sandwich, or a float (with soda, beer, or kombucha) and enter into a raffle to win edible prizes from local purveyors like Ovenly, Anarchy in a Jar, and One Girl Cookies.

Sausage Making Class
61 Local keeps the good stuff coming with a hands-on class hosted by Scott Bridi, founder of Brooklyn Cured. Learn the steps to making great sausage, from seasoning to preparation, and then sample the goods paired with three craft beers. You’ll also get to take home some of the finished product to grill up at home. Get tickets here.

Ghost Bottle Night
The Diamond showcases some of Brooklyn Brewery‘s ghost bottles: rare, bottle-conditioned brews you won’t find anywhere else. They’ll be pouring four beers, including the Crochet Rouge Reisling (Local 1 aged on Reisling lees) and a Black Ops late bottle vintage 2007.
