Those who love Brooklyn Flea mainstay Crop to Cup Coffee will be happy to know that the caffienated crew is setting up its own shop in Gowanus/South Slope area (541A Third Ave, between 13th and 14th Streets. Next door to Lowlands Bar, to be exact).  The new shop will feature an Espresso Bar, pastries from Four & Twenty Blackbirds, frequent tastings, and a garden area while also acting as C2C’s wholesale distribution point, for those who want massive quantities of beans.  C2C is not only a fair trade operation that sources directly from small family coffee farms in Uganda and Burundi: they also make a mean cup of Joe!  The shop opens today – January, 28, so stop in and say hello!
