The 3rd Annual Next Big Small Brand Contest – a steel cage match between fledgling food brands from New York City and the Bay Area in which the winner is awarded branding and PR work, kitchen equipment, and retail opps meant to launch them to superstardom – draws to a close next week, when the winner will be announced at a bash at BAM.

Representing Brooklyn this year? Your very own Pie Corps. Cheryl Perry and Felipa Lopez, the pie-masters behind the Corps, have a ninja-like repertoire of pie moves: They make sweet pies, savory pies, post pies, hand pies, pie pops, piglets (two bite pies), and more…And they don’t just taste good – Pie Corps keeps it real, using the best seasonal ingredients sourced directly from local farmers.
