Chef Nate Smith, former chef de cuisine at The Spotted Pig, April Bloomfield’s famous Manhattan gastropub, opened his new Williamsburg restaurant Allswell, last night.

The menu? Expect frequently changing, seasonal, new American dishes with the expected (and welcomed) British and European gastropub influences.

Photographer Donny Tsang stopped by Allswell for a visit. If you know Donny’s work, you won’t be surprised that he spent most of his time in the kitchen. Donny has shared a few of his photos with us here. For the full shoot, check out his awesome Brooklyn food photo blog, ultrateg.com.
