We’re looking forward to the imminent debut of Brooklyn’s newest (perhaps only?) mustard. Not only is it whole-grain mustard made right here in Brooklyn, but it features some of our favorite Brooklyn-brewed beers from Sixpoint.

Anna Wolf, the founder of My Friend’s Mustard, began making whole-grain beer mustards after leaving a grind of a desk job in March of ’09. A serendipitous meeting with some of the Sixpoint Craft Ales crew at a party inspired her to try some test batches with a few of their brews, and “Voila! Brooklyn mustard made with Sixpoint beer; it was a perfect match.”

Anna’s first two flavors are a jalapeno IPA made with Sixpoint Bengali Tiger IPA, and a spicy brown made with Sixpoint Brownstone Ale.

‘My Friend’s Mustard’ will be hitting shelves at select locations in Williamsburg in the coming week. Keep an eye out for them at Radish, Urban Rustic and Marlow & Daughters, with more locations coming soon.
